Confederations cup 2013 Final Brazil Vs Spain

This match was really a great entertainer for the football fans all over the world. It was the clash between current euro & world champion Spain against the host nation Brazil. The match was highly expected by the fans. The fans were wondering  “whether the continuous victory run of Spain will be stopped or will be continuing?”

The Spain was the favorite until the match started but Brazil fans where much awaiting for this clash, because they want to see how their team is going to stop Spain and their upcoming star Neymar.

It was a tremendous start by the host Brazil and they gave shock to Spain team and its fan in the second minute of the match. It was a beautiful cross from the right wing, where Fred and Neymar was waiting with two defense players Segio Ramos and Pique. The attempt of headkick was missed by fred and he fell down but keen on the ball. Ball was very near to him and he managed to reach with the leg and kicked inside the goal post. Spanish goal keeper Casillas dived towards the ball which is vain and Brazil was leading with 1-0.

After that Spanish players where much keen by holding the ball and was very careful in bass possession.   Even though, Brazilians whenever gets the ball they rushed towards Spanish goal post. They got nice chances but they missed to convert them as goals. Oscar got a great chance but it was kicked outside.

There got a great opportunity for Spanish which was created by Alba and Mata combo. The ball was massed to Mata by avoiding the Brazilian defense players. Mata rushing with the ball into the D-box and Julio Ceaser the Brazilian goal keeper came in front to stop the ball. But Mata’s kick avoided and ball was storming towards Brazilian goal post. But the Brazil’s full back player, skidded towards the ball and manage to send it outside, indeed Spanish got a corner kick. Spainish players and fans disappointed. A chance of equalizing was demolished by Brazilian defense player.

The highlights of the match happened with in 5 minutes of the end of first half. Brazilian’s stormed into the D-Box of the Spanish. Neymar was in offside position and mange to come back and at the same time Oscar passed the ball to Neymar which was converted as goal. Before the end of half-time Brazil was in strong position over Spain leading by 2 goals to 0.

Second half started and after 7 minutes a beautiful cross and it was converted by goal by Fred again which made Brazil to lead by 3 goals. Fred was on a HATRICK.  In Second half, it was power pack performance by Brazilians. But Spanish manage to get a penalty shootout which was because of the tackle by Marshelle. Sergio Ramos was taken the kick. But he missed it. If this goal would have been scored then Spain might be having some confident to bounce back. It was failure. After some time David villa, Iniesta and Xavi tried to score and it was denied by Julio Ceaser the Brazlian goal keeper.

Spanish players struggled to stop Neymar. His running was great and he was terribly attacked. Pique got red card because of his harsh effort agains Neymar. The match was in last 10 minutes and Spanish players cannot score. Yes, it’s Brazil to won the confederations cup 2013. This is the 4^th time they are champions and also Brazil is the team which has won more number of times.
